STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Restorative Care Lodge is a specialist, residential rehabilitation setting for adults with complex mental health needs and/or learning disabilities; and who are stepping down from secure, forensic or acute inpatient services.
We offer a safe, structured and therapeutic environment that promotes recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration into the community.

Restorative Care Lodge’s mission is to provide person-centred rehabilitation and a sense of liberation to those recovering from mental health problems. Recovery is rarely a linear concept, so Restorative Care Lodge will be there to support individuals to manage their own lives
independently and navigate their recovery journey.
Our mission is to provide a helping hand to those who need it, by empowering service users to regain a sense of autonomy in their lives.

HELPING PEOPLE TAKE CHARGE OF THEIR RECOVERY
The service users will be encouraged to remain autonomous during their recovery journey by retaining their ‘voice’. Restorative Care Lodge Support will devise patient centred collaborative recovery support plans to allow service users to make their own informed choices, guided by our support workers. Support workers will assist service users with improving or maintaining their motivation by helping to instil a sense of hope for the future with a ‘can do’ attitude being implemented.
WORKING TOGETHER FOR A BRIGHTER MORE INDEPENDENT FURTURE
Restorative Care Lodge Support will promote a person-centred approach throughout care provision, offering continuation of NHS ethos and values which our service users will be accustomed to. Service users will work in collaboration with our dedicated management and staff team to enhance outcomes for them, which will allow them to move on to more independent accommodation when assessed as appropriate and necessary for them to do so.
Support workers will provide 24-hour care support, 7 days a week to service users.
